Wir freuen uns euch zum kommenden Workshop "Kulturen der Heilkunde des Mittelalters in interdisziplinärer Perspektive" einzuladen. 

Ziel des Workshops ist es, die kulturelle Durchlässigkeit der mittelalterlichen Medizin in ihrer Vielfalt zu beschreiben.
Die Kommunikationsprozesse medizinischen Wissens sollen vertieft, d.h. offener für Vielfalt als die bisherige Forschung, erforscht und diskutiert werden. Außerdem soll der Charakter der Heilkunst und -wissenschaft als interkulturelles Erbe, das offener für "äußere" Einflüsse ist als andere Systeme (z.B. religiöse, rechtliche oder politische), stärker berücksichtigt werden.

We are happy to invite you to the workshop "Cultures of Medieval Medicine in an Interdisciplinary Perspective"

The aim of the workshop is to describe the cultural permeability of medieval medicine in its diversity. The communication processes of medical knowledge are to be explored and discussed in greater depth, i.e. by being more open to diversity than previous research. Moreover, the character of the art and science of healing as an intercultural heritage, which is more open to "external" influences than other systems (e.g., religious, legal, or political), should be considered more thoroughly.
